To compete against Samsung and Apple’s iPhone, Nokia has doubled its support for Windows Phone 8 and it recently introduced a number of new smartphones, which are powered by the new operating system from Microsoft. However, the initial handsets from Nokia that were powered by Microsoft Windows did not prove to be real game changer for the company because none of the devices did well against the different Android variants from Samsung and iOS based iPhone. But now it seems that the tables have started to turn around for Nokia, as 360Buy.com a Chinese retailer and official operator of Nokia’s “Jingdong Mall” shop has made it known through its Twitter account that the Cyan Nokia Lumia 920 has been warmly greeted by consumers. According to the report, when 360Buy.com opened the pre-orders for the Cyan colored Nokia Lumia 920, the 3,000 units of the most expensive handset from the manufacturer in its class got sold out in just one hour.

The price for the unlocked version of the smartphone is 4599 Yuan that is equal to $738 US dollars and people in China can still purchase it from 360Buy.com, as the Chinese retailer is still offering it after the sell out of the first batch. On top of this, people who manage to get pre0orders before the stocks comes to end will be able to get the Lumia 920 on February 25th. Apart from this China Unicom is also offering the amazing handset on a two year contract for consumers in China without paying a single penny.
However, in spite of excitement about the new smartphone in China, several people in the country think that this demand for the Cyan version of Lumia 920 is artificial because it is created by supplying the model in a small quantity. Therefore, they believe that it is not going to last long, but at this point in time nothing can be said for sure, as this PureMotion HD plus ClearBlack display handset packs wonderful components that can easily entice anyone.
