Do you think that your brain is smarter and works faster than others? Whatever the answer is, you can benefit from Lumosity, a company that makes games for brain fitness. If you are smarter, then you can join the club of 35 million members at Lumosity and know where you stand, and if the answer to the question is “no”, you can certainly improve your brain’s performance through Lumosity that was created by some neuroscientists a few years ago.

Gigaom has recently reported that the number of Lumosity members has reached 35 million, while it has also experienced a considerable rise in its revenue. Lumosity was launched back in 2007, and CEO Kunal Sarkar has said that the company’s revenue has increased by more than 100 per cent every year since 2007 to reach around $24 million in 2012. Another significant achievement for Lumosity is that its app was downloaded around 50,000 times per day in January 2013.

The brain games offered by Lumosity are not just for a particular target group. In fact, people of all ages can benefit from them and this, according to Sarkar, is the reason for the company’s success and growth. He said:

“We focused on making the product very appealing so that anyone, starting with a 10-year-old up to my dad [who’s] 72, can use it and feel like it’s relevant to them.”

Lumosity adds hundreds of thousands of members to its club every month and its training programs are well worth the fame. The company is now planning on focusing on its expansion across the globe so as to reach even more people.
