HTC CEO Peter Chou Caught Using White Variant of Upcoming M7 during News Transmission

The Mobile World Congress 2013 will take place in Barcelona between 25 and 28 of February and will feature numerous announcements from mobile manufacturers. Instead of taking advantage of the events large stage, Taiwan-based mobile manufacturer HTC decided to hold its own event in London on February 19 just a few days before the conference. Moreover, the multinational corporation has already sent invites to its event but so far HTC has not rolled out any details. In spite of this silence, many are expecting that HTC is going to announce their next flagship smartphone, M7. The new device is to be the successor of the firm’s current flagship model, One X. Alleged screenshots and pictures of M7 have popped up online and the latest picture id of HTC’s CEO, Peter Chou, holding the device has almost confirmed that not only does the M7 exists, but it will be the device that the company will release on February 19. In the image, the CEO of HTC was caught showing off a white variant of M7 on January 31st night on TV.

 

Chou was caught in the action, while he was taking pictures of the crowd with the upcoming M7 during a news transmission. It is expected that this new smartphone will have a 13 megapixel camera, 4.7-inch HD 1080p display, quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 32GB of internal storing capacity, 2GB of RAM and support 4G LTE. Obviously, the OS of this forthcoming mobile will be Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Rumour also has it that this handset is expected to hit the shelves in the first week of the March. Before that we expect to see some more leaked images or details of the device from different sources.
