This year South Korean mobile phone maker, LG, has adopted a completely different approach to unveiling its upcoming handsets. For example, the company has formally announced its second generation of L-Series phones which includes Optimus L3II, Optimus L5II and Optimus L7II along with the 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro before the start of 2013 Mobile World Congress. Before the company’s official announcement about the L Series devices, they had also stated that the firm would be holding a big press conference on the first day of the MWC. Because of the language used int eh invite to the event, many observers were expecting LG to lift the curtain on four different cellphones on February 25th. Interestingly, the South Korean firm ended up announcing all its different phones before the MWC except for its F-Series phones. At that point several thought that LG might keep the F-Series phones for MWC, but it seems that this year the company is not in the mood to keep any of its devices a secret. Just four days before MWC the Korean company has officially unveiled its LTE enabled Optimus F5 and Optimus F7.
On this occasion, LG declared that the F-Series mobile phones are “designed to bring a premium user experience and the speed of 4G LTE to a mass audience.” Both Optimus F5 and Optimus F7 are powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2 OS and pack dual-core processors. Of these two F-Series handsets, F7 boasts high-end features, whereas the F5 has middle specs. MobileSyrup has outlined some specifications of both F-Series phones as:
