Google has launched its Business Photo initiative in India. The initiative enables users to view an office or any other location on Google and have a 360-degree view of the business premise. The virtual tour details out major things in which a potential buyer can be interested. The 360-degree imagery is in access of people using Google Search, Google Maps, and Google+ Local Pages.

This service is already available in some developed countries including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France, Ireland and Netherlands.

It is a great facility for business owners who would not need to be physically present to show any premise to the potential buyers. The buyers will also be at ease by viewing the area via this service. The business owners who use this facility can also share the images of their premises on social media and their own websites.

Adding Business Photos is not a very difficult task. Those who are interested in doing so must contact a trusted agency to get started. The list of the trusted agencies is available here. Once you get in contact with any of the listed agencies, it will contact you and scheduled a photo shoot. You will have to pay to get the shoot. Once the shoot is done and you have paid the required amount, your premise will soon be available on Google Search, Google Maps, and Google+ Local Pages. Shailesh Nalawadi, Google’s product manager of Geo, said of this service, via ThinkDigit:

“Consumers who look online for local businesses can now see more high-quality photos that give them a sense of what a place is really like. For the businesses, this provides an opportunity to visually present their product and services. For example, before visiting a store to purchase an electronic device, consumers can use business photos to evaluate and view the selections offered by various retailers.”
