Just ten days are left in the launch of one of the most highly anticipated phones of the year, the Samsung Galaxy S IV, but unlike other smartphones this one has not made an appearance in leaked images so far. Moreover, due to lack of leaked information about the features of the upcoming smartphone, aficionados are also not sure about its specs. Therefore, every Galaxy S series lover is eagerly waiting for the event that Samsung will hold in New York City on March 14th to unveil the next Galaxy. Nevertheless, now an Antutu benchmark test of Samsung Galaxy S IV has recently emerged online that will surely boost the excitement of fans. Though, the test did not come along with any leaked images of the handset, but it certainly gives a good idea of what the S III successor will be packing. Previously all sorts of rumours were whirling in the tech world, according to one of them S IV will not boast the brand new Octa Exynos, whereas another speculation was that only the European models of the phone will feature Samsung’s homegrown chip. However, now a Antutu benchmark test of Samsung Galaxy S IV has almost made it clear that the S IV will have an Exynos 5410 chip together with a 1.8GHz processor and a 4 plus 4 core setup. But still one cannot rule out the presence of Qualcomm 600 processor in another version of the S IV.
In addition to the above mentioned components, the Galaxy S IV will also bear 2GB of RAM, 4.99-inch HD 1920×1080 display and it will be powered by Android Jelly Bean 4.2 OS. Furthermore, the Antutu test also revealed that Samsung may make the next big thing available in two versions just like Apple, a 16GB internal memory edition and a 32GB internal memory edition. You might have also heard a rumour that a 64GB version of S IV will also be released, but it appears from this test that such an edition does not exist.
The next Galaxy will also sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front camera along with standard fares like Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi. However, the best part is that the Galaxy S IV looks like a “world” phone therefore you may not see its specific variants for different carriers this time around. The assumption that Galaxy S IV is a “world” phone is derived from the WCDMA/LTE/GSM network settings that are clearly showing in the Antutu test.
