Toronto-based startup accelerator and innovation agency Kinetic Cafe is dedicated to strategic foresight, consumer engagement and design has declared that it has acquired the services of Steve Billinger and Saul Colt for leadership roles. The two professionals have the skill and the experience to take Kinetic Cafe to the next level thanks to Billinger’s previous association with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and OCAD University. Colt also has an impressive resume in which he was the “Head of Magic” at a local cloud-based accounting startup known as FreshBooks. Colt has a major role in the success of FreshBooks as he helped the startup boost its user to a whopping five million.

Co-founder of Kinetic Cafe, Chris Carder, said on this occasion that, “Adding talent like Steve or Saul is an exciting opportunity, but welcoming both at the same time is a real game changer. With Saul’s background growing startups through creativity and innovative marketing and Steve’s experience forming strategic partnerships to build innovative programs Kinetic Café continues to push forward as a leader in Canada’s innovation space.”

Now being a part of Kinetic Cafe the duo will take care of different matters, as Billinger will lead the strategic partnership development, whereas Colt will handle the programs of the startup accelerator that focuses on investing and incubating upcoming startups.

Sharing his thoughts as the new Principal of Kinetic Startups, Colt said that, “The idea of getting to help solve complicated problems all day with creativity while at the same time encouraging people to follow their dreams is baked into my DNA. Minds beat Money is something Kinetic Café believes in and seeing the addition of myself and Steve and also knowing the amazing next moves Kinetic Cafe will announce shortly is a real testament to that belief and something I am very excited about.”

On the other hand, the new Principal of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation, Billinger said that, “I am pleased to have joined Kinetic Café would be an understatement. Being able to work everyday with this team to make amazing things for our clients while having a little fun is exactly what I have been looking for.”

The consulting company that came into being in 2011 has also made it known on the occasion that in this month more “world-class talent” will become a part of their organization. This will help Kinetic Cafe to focus more effectively on “forward-thinking enterprises and disruptive startups challenge convention, imagine new possibilities, and bring meaningful products, services, and experiences to the market,” according to TechVibes.
