Just four days are left in the launch the of Samsung Galaxy S IV and fans have still to see a clear leaked image of the device that could give a good idea about the look or design of the highly anticipated device. However, some new rumours related to the Galaxy S IV have emerged which have unveiled a few more features of the upcoming smartphone. According to a recent report, Galaxy S IV is likely to have a technology that will enable the users to access the device by simply hovering their finger over the display. This new feature is quite alike the Air View, which Samsung first introduced in the 5.5-inch Galaxy Note II, but an S pen was used for this purpose in the hybrid device as users hover over the device. In addition to this, Sony has also used the same technology in its Xperia sola model, but in contrast to Samsung the Japanese company has introduced it in its low-end phone.

The other rumour about the Samsung Galaxy S IV is that this time the South Korean manufacturer has decided to replace material in its usual AMOLED display that contains blue and green fluorescent OLEDs along with red OLEDs with phosphorescent. The company has now used fluorescent material in the blue OLEDs only and phosphorescent in both red and green. This alleged new display is called PHOLED and it is 25 percent more power efficient as compared to the AMOLED screen, but in terms of picture quality you would not find any major change.

The third speculation that has popped up regarding the upcoming S IV is that the next Galaxy will be released in two versions. One of them will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor together with a LCD display, whereas the other version will come with an AMOLED display and will be powered by the homegrown Exynos 5 Octa chipset of Samsung. Currently it is hard to predict whether Samsung is looking to launch these versions of S IV in different regions or just like BlackBerry it has plans to launch one of these models first and then the other.

It was also reported that Galaxy S IV will be running Android Jelly Bean OS 4.2.1 at the time of the launch, but an update to 4.2.2 is likely to be released in the same month. So Galaxy S IV users could further enhance their experience.
