AT&T will take Pre-Orders for Samsung Galaxy S IV for $249.99 with Contract Starting April 16

At the launch of Samsung Galaxy S IV the South Korean manufacturer announced the names of US carriers which would make the latest flagship smartphone available to their customers and AT&T was one of the main names on the list. Now two weeks after the announcement of Galaxy S IV, AT&T has finally made it official that customers, who are interested in buying the new handsets from Samsung can place their pre-orders with the telecom service provider. The company revealed this through a blog post that appeared over the internet on Thursday, March 28th. However, AT&T did not make it known when its customers would actually be able to get their hands on the Galaxy S IV, but the telecom carrier did mention in its blog post that people can place their pre-orders from April 16th at a price of $249.99 on a two year contract.

 

Here are the exact words from AT&T’s blog post regarding the pre-order of Samsung Galaxy S IV

 

“Continuing our legacy as the first carrier to launch Samsung’s Galaxy series, we are excited to announce AT&T customers will be able to begin pre-ordering the Galaxy S4 beginning April 16 for $249.99 with a two-year commitment. We are proud to offer this iconic device and continue to offer our customers the best smartphone line-up, with a variety of devices for every lifestyle and budget.”

On the other hand, T-Mobile has made it known earlier that it would make the latest smartphone available on May 1st, which gives potential buyers in the US a good idea when they will actually be able to see the handset with other carriers. T-Mobile customers, who are interested in buying Galaxy S IV would get it by availing the new un-carrier plans of the company for which they have to make a down payment of $99 and $20 per month charges for 24 months along with the monthly bill.

 

Besides, AT&T and T-Mobile other telecom carriers which had joined hands with Samsung to make Galaxy S IV available to their customers are US Cellular, Sprint, Verison Wireless and Cricket. Galaxy S IV boasts a 5-inch 441ppi display together with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, Snapdragon 600 processor, 16GB of internal memory and 2GB of RAM.

 

The brand new smartphone has some amazing new functions such as dual-camera recording function, automatic scroll and much more.
