Finally the day has arrived which all Google Glass enthusiasts have anxiously been waiting for as the search engine giant has officially declared the specs for the Glass Explorer version. The most prominent features of the device is its camera that is 5-megapixel and records video on 720P. In addition to this, Google Glass has an internal storing capacity of 12GB and together with the Google cloud it can store up to 16GB of data. As far as connectivity of Google Glass is concerned the device uses a slower 802.11B/G wifi, which is although not a big achievement it is perhaps integrated instead of the 802.11N due to the chip size and to save energy.
However, in contrast to the aforementioned specs, the display of the wearable device is going to be awe-inspiring, as Google divulged that it will boast a screen that will be no less than a 25-inch HD screen and approximately 8 feet away. Moreover, to power this powerful display, Google Glass incorporates a battery that will keep it alive for one full day.

Besides Google Glass specs, the Mountain View-based company has also released the Mirror API of the device on Monday, April 15th that will help developers create their own apps for the wearable tech. “Glassware” also known as Web-based services will work with Google Glass via cloud-based API and they will not need any type of code to be run on the hardware of the device.
Few significant features that will go into the apps are interacting with menu items, managing timeline cards, sharing to contacts, working with user location and subscribing to timeline notifications. Google has issued a developers guide too on its site in order to help developer start working on apps.
