LG declared last week that it is going to organise an event on May 1st in New York City but the South Korean electronics manufacturer did not give any information about the reason behind the occasion. However, on Monday, April 22nd LG finally revealed that it is holding the May 1 event to launch the 5.5-inch smartphone called Optimus G Pro in the U.S. This was indeed good news not only for LG fans in the U.S. but also for people, who wanted the Korean company to release the Optimus G Pro in the country. The idea is that new devices will give a tough time to big smartphone manufacturers like Apple, Samsung and others. LG has included a picture of the Optimus G Pro in its May 1st event’s invitation and the rest of the invitation reads, “LG invites you to Share the Genuis of LG Optimus G Pro with an exclusive concert event featuring indie music sensation Atlas Genius.”

The launch of LG Optimus G Pro is now confirmed for the U.S. market, but it will hit stores some time later.
