In the first week of last month when Rovio Entertainment announced their 2012 earnings, the company also made it known that they had launched an exclusive edition of ‘Angry Birds Friends’ for Facebook and they would soon make it available on iOS and Android platforms as well. So finally on Thursday, May 2nd Rovio Entertainment fulfilled its promise and launched the ‘Angry Birds Friends’ games on two of the most popular mobile platforms. More importantly users of iOS and Android devices can download the game without paying a single penny. As a result of that both Android and iOS mobile device users can play this game while they are on the move with their Facebook friends. In addition to this, users can also participate in the weekly tournaments and the next contest will begin from May 6th.
The interesting thing about the Angry Birds Friends game is that users who compete in the contest through Facebook or via a mobile device, will be able to see their progress on both platforms the games are synced across the supported platforms. So, “Download it today to get some practice in before it all begins” says Rovio, as on every Monday, gamers will be able to see different tournament that will give new challenges to them plus the levels of the game are not going to be easy.
