Amazon has declared that it has rolled out its Cloud Drive service for Canadians on Amazon.ca. Users in Canada can now securely and easily store their data in the Amazon Cloud. In addition, they can also access their digital data by utilizing Cloud Drive for Mac, Windows or any web browser. Consumers will get 5GB of space to sync and store their pictures, music and documents. Those who need more space to store their data have to sign up for paid accounts which starts at $10 and gives them 20GB of storing capacity, whereas a 500GB account is also available for a $250 annual fee. This deal is more attractive than Google Drive’s 400GB account for which the search engine giant charges $400 each year.

The Cloud Drive Photos for Android or iOS devices makes it easy to store, share and enjoy photos from Android phones and tablets, as well as iPhones and iPod touch devices. The app automatically saves a phone’s photos to Amazon Cloud Drive, so customers never have to worry about losing their pictures, even if their phone is misplaced. In addition, any photos in Amazon Cloud Drive are available through the Cloud Drive Photos app, so photos can be accessed anytime, anywhere.
