This year Samsung is looking more aggressive than before in launching new devices as compared to the previous year. After releasing its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S IV, on March 14th the South Korean company has so far announced several new Galaxy devices which include two new smartphones (Galaxy S IV Mini and Galaxy S IV Active) and a new tablet (Galaxy Tab 3 8.0). In fact, rumour has it that along with the Galaxy Tab 3, Samsung is also ready to roll out a 10-inch version of the slate, which will most probably be called Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. However, if you think that this is all that Samsung has planned for this year then, think again. The Korean manufacturer has also sent out invites for its upcoming ‘Premier’ event in London on June 20th, where it will debut thr new Galaxy and ATIV S devices. So get ready to see a plethora of new electronic devices from Samsung, which may also include another rumoured device dubbed as Galaxy S IV Zoom. Amazingly leaked images of this upcoming device have already surfaced online.
The leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S IV Zoom were first seen on SamMobile and Techtastic, which have also listed the specs of the device. The phone is believed to be a cross between the Galaxy S IV Mini and Galaxy S Camera, which is the first Android-based camera from Samsung released last year. According to these sites, Galaxy S IV Zoom boosts a 4.3-inch qHD sAMOLED screen, a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, a whopping 16 megapixel rear shooter that has 10X optical zoom capability, 8GB of internal storing capacity and Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi connectivity along with a dedicated silver camera button on one side. In addition to this, the sites also claime that Galaxy S IV Zoom will be running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and will have the TouchWiz interface.
At this point in time, the the Galaxy S IV Zoom’s dimensions and weight are not clear. Analysts are also not certain abou which networks the device will support. However, one thing is for sure, if the aforementioned specs of the device turn out to be true then, the Galaxy S IV Zoom will be a very capable smartphone. Earlier, Samsung has announced both Galaxy S IV Mini and Galaxy S IV Active after leaked images appeared on the internet.
