LG has already revealed that its forthcoming flagship smartphone G2 will feature a Snapdragon 800 chipset and it will be the first premium device from the South Korean company that will hit stores without the brand name Optimus. Apart from this several leaks of the LG G2 have unveiled most of the specs of the upcoming smartphone including volume control button on the back of the handset and home, back and menu buttons integrated into the screen rather than at the bottom of the device. However, there are seven days left in the official launch of LG G2, as the Korean OEM will unveil it at an August 7 event in New York City. So to further entice LG fans, this time the company has showcased a range of ‘QuickWindow’ cases for the G2 in order to compliment its exclusivity.
Moreover, with the introduction of QuickWindow case LG has also increase the number of its premium smartphone accessories, which include portable chargers, headsets and now casings. LG will make the new case available in 7 different colours. In addition to this, LG has designed the G2 in a way that it knows when the case is close. Therefore, instantly it turns on the QuickWindow UX’ to give users the option to view time, incoming messages, incoming call details and more. But the new QuickWindow case of G2 is not much different than the Air View case of Samsung Galaxy S IV.

“LG Electronics (LG) will be introducing a line of premium cases for its upcoming flagship device, LG G2, to be available at the same time as the smartphone. The aesthetically beautiful case, QuickWindowTM, is the newest addition to LG’s growing premium smartphone accessory lineup, which includes cases, headsets and portable chargers.
An opening or “window” on the cover of QuickWindowTM allows users to glance at various information displays without having to open the cover flap. With only a light swipe of a finger, the QuickWindowTM UX will appear in the window which users can view while on-the-go. Information that can be viewed through the QuickWindowTM cover include a clock, weather report, alarm, music player, incoming phone call details and incoming text messages.
“LG’s newest premium accessory delivers practical and stylish options while protecting the smartphone, which for many consumers is a significant investment,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “Our smartphone designers have in mind the type of case they’d like to see on their designs. The QuickWindowTMcase for the LG G2 will be available in seven different colors, including black, white, pink, purple, blue, mint and yellow. The cases will be available simultaneously with the launch of the LG G2.”
