Good news for DSRL-style gadget fans, Sony is launching two new cameras, especially for its fans of DSRL-style gadgets. Generally, camera fans are classified into two groups. Some like small, easy to handle cameras while there are some who like bulky, professional look and feel of DSLR cameras.
Sony has launched new cameras for each kind of customers. The two models include the DSLR Sony Alpha 3000 and the DSLR-style NEX-5TL/B. Both cameras have some new and cool features that will definitely attract fans of both camera types. Also, both camera types have near field communications feature, by which user quickly just after taking the picture can transfer them to their smartphones and upload them on social media networks, such as Facebook and Instagram. Pictures can be shared with a push of a single button. These cameras are especially designed for amateur camera fans, who these days account for half of the market.
There is an interchangeable lens at the top of the Alpha 3000, with an Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor by which a user can capture pictures in a magnificent 20.4 MP image. Also, it can capture high definition resolution videos at 60 frames per second. The focal length of the camera is 27 mm to 82.5 mm with 3X digital zoom. Per second a camera can shoot 3.5 frames.
To use the camera one doesn’t have to be an expert. You can after taking pictures edit it on the camera, easily and effectively. The camera comes with a rechargeable Lithium NP-FW50 battery and has a 7.8 ounce weight. The NEX-5TL/B also comes with Sony E-mount interchangeable lenses with an Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor by which a user can capture pictures in a glorious 16.1 MP image. It can shoot up to 10 frames per second. NEX-5TL/B has 3X optical and 4X digital zoom with a focal length of 24 mm to 77 mm. The camera has a 3-inch touch screen display with a 4.1 ounce weight. Also the camera comes with a built-in Wi-Fi, by which you can upload pictures on the web as soon as you capture them.
“These targets the entry-level user,” said Kenta Hanjo, a product manager at Sony Electronics. “It’s for someone who owns a smartphone and point and shoots and wants to step up their photography.” He added: “That Sony had about 50 percent market share from April 2012 to March 2013 in the image sensor market. The Alpha 3000 will be available in early September for $399. The NEX-5TL/B will be available in black, white, and silver colors at the same time for $699.”
