Last week an important announcement came on behalf of Majestic Media regarding launch of an all new accelerator ‘Social Titan Labs’. Majestic Media is a Toronto based firm which focuses on Facebook for market development has been keen on developing products and applications based on Facebook and has recently shown inclination towards accelerator development.
This new initiative is aimed to be based on different platforms and should help people from different fields and professions to join hands on a single platform. Majestic Media also emphasized on the need for more focus on building products for various platform which include mobile and web. It further stated that it has decided to split its business and engineering units so as to launch the new accelerator ‘ Social Titan Labs’. The main purpose of this decision was not to diverge the focus of its engineering team from building web and mobile products. These products are purpose built to cater to global markets and Majestic Media has various clients which include famous brands in the international market that show interest in products developed by this company.
According to Majestic’s Mario Zelaya, Social Titan Labs will partner up with entrepreneurs and investors, looking to build digital platforms that are social in nature, on mobile, tablet or web. “We’re going to provide startups with the opportunity to take their idea and develop it into a real and viable product”, said Zelaya who is also Social Titan Labs’ Managing Director. “Rather than investing financially, we’re going to provide the strategy, creative & engineers required for them to be successful.”
Social Titan Labs will be looking for fresh startups looking to build mobile or web products that leverage the power of social networks. The technical and strategic team at Social Titan Labs will leverage the valuable experience gained developing digital, social and mobile apps for Fortune 500 brands.
Majestic Media is splitting off their business unit and engineers to start Social Titan Labs.
