Samsung Teases Their Upcoming ‘Phablet” Galaxy Note II

For those who have gotten up close and personal with the Samsung Galaxy Note, they know it is a unique and powerful device that hits a sweet spot between tablet and Smartphone. With news that Samsung’s rival firm launching both the iPhone 5 and iPad Mini in the coming months, the Korean giant has had to plug and build anticipation for their devices as well.

 

Enter this teaser trailer from the Note maker created specifically for its IFA show on August 29. The video features German director, producer and playwright Wim Wenders who describes an incredible device which allows him to do everything he needs in a sleek and compact package. The video features the S-Pen stylus, hinting in a major way that the device Wenders’ describes is indeed the next generation Note II.

 

The aforementioned Note is expected to be announced later this week at IFA (TQ was on it), making this video fitting. We are excited to see what Samsung brings to the table with its latest. The expectation is that the phone will feature a larger 5.5” screen (as compared to the current 5.3”) and a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. We won’t have to wait long to see.
