3.Italy

4.France

2,435.4 tonnes of gold lies in the reserves of France as its holdings. That gives the country fourth place in the list. The percentage of national forex reserves in gold is 71% for France.

5.China

China takes the fifth place in this list of top 10 countries with largest gold reserves. The country has a gold reserve of 1,054.1 tonnes. The percentage of national Forex reserves in gold for China is 2%.

6.Switzerland

Officially the Gold holdings of Switzerland are about 1,040.1 tonnes. . The percentage of national forex reserves in gold for Switzerland is 11%, which makes the country list at the sixth position in top 10 countries with largest gold reserves.

7.Russia

The official gold holdings of Russia are 976.9 tonnes and that places Russia on the seventh place in this list. The percent of national forex reserves in gold for Russia is about 9%.

8.Japan

Japan comes at the eighth position in the list. It has the gold holdings of about 765.2 tonnes. The percent of national forex reserves in gold is about 3% for Japan.

9.Netherlands

Officially the Gold holdings of Netherlands are about 612.5 tonnes. . The percentage of national forex reserves in gold for Netherlands is 60%, which makes the country list at the ninth position in top 10 countries with largest gold reserves.

10.India

India takes the final place in this list of top 10 countries with largest gold reserves. The country has a gold reerve of 557.7 tonnes. The percentage of national forex reserves in gold for India is 10%.
