Toronto-based company FreshBooks, who deliver invoicing and time-tracking solutions for enterprises of all sizes in order to save time and manage files easily and accurately have introduced new features as announced today on their blog.

This feature allows users to attach expense receipts, either captured as a photo or uploaded as a PDF document to invoices for billing purposes in day to day dealings. This feature will be considered a boon for those who receive email confirmations and invoices for items such as vehicle rentals, hotels and travel as well as fuel and meal costs.

Accepted file formats include jpegs, gifs, pngs and PDFs. This wide range insures ease and convenience in using the tool to re-bill clients or organize expense information for bookkeeping purposes. The blog link above details the various steps required to upload and attach invoices via written instruction and diagrams that are easily to follow.

Files upto 2MB in size can be attached and all protected PDF files will not be recognized. The invoices can be customized accordingly for various types of businesses and specific clients with the attached expense receipts appearing in any order you see fit.

We are extremely excited to use the new feature in our invoicing and encourage you to try what the Canadian firm has to offer.
