Thanks to a recently announced $25M partnership deal between TELUS Mobility and Telehop, the former’s 7.5 million clients will receive hassle-free long distance savings. The agreement, the first of its kind for a North American carrier, will provide extremely affordable dial around long distance calling all over the world. There will be no need to sign up or purchase cards.

As per the deal, all TELUS users would need to do is dial #100 prior to any long distance number. The charges associated with the call will automatically be billed to the users’ monthly bills without service or network charge. The service will be made available immediately to both pre-paid and those with monthly plans.

Telehop will allow TELUS users to call destinations such as China, India, Israel, Australia and the majority of Europe for $0.05 per minute. Long distance calls to Pakistan, Vietnam, Russia and South Africa can be made for $0.10 per minute.

Congratulations to both parties as well as TELUS Mobility clients.
