We have been doing what we can to bring you the latest and greatest from IFA Consumer Electronics Show. Something we had to share is the largest glasses free 3D HDTV measuring in at 103”. The Panasonic creation weighs an impressive 706 pounds and measures 7.9 feet by 4.6 feet.

According to the Japanese tech giant’s website, the TH-P103MT2 costs $100,302 CAD (8.5 million YEN) and features a plasma screen with 5,000,000:1 native contrast ratio and full 1080p display. The beauty of the device is its glasses free capability, which allowed patrons at IFA to stand in five specially designated spots to experience the most poignant and vivid experience.

The good people of Engadget were impressed with the 4K2K display, being drawn in by a similar prototype 145 inch 8K plasma screen that is co-developed by Panasonic and Japan’s public broadcasting organization (NHK).

Panasonic has actually been selling 100 inch plus screens for some time however the 3D capability particularly minus glasses is what makes this behemoth such a marvel. Although the fortunate among us may realistically have space and income to purchase this TV, the real focus is on commercial consumers. Although far from perfect, the screen and display mark incredible progress towards what at-home entertainment can be.
