Andy Sparks might just have what can be considered the ultimate concept for the lazy man’s way of searching the internet. The aforementioned service, entitled LaunchGram.com allows people to create an account on the company’s website and subscribe to news and information that appeals to them, mainly surrounding such things as product launches and upcoming films.

Once subscribed, users will receive “LaunchGrams” via email regarding the products that interest them. These emails will feature the latest and most up to date information, photos and videos from around the internet as collected, filtered and sorted by the LaunchGram team. The same information will be made available on product or item specific pages on LaunchGram’s main website.

Although the site’s current focus is on launches for video games, movies, technology, gadgets and automobiles, planned expansions do exist for items such as books, music and other media. LaunchGrams will also be made available via SMS in the very near future according to a company source, as will mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.

The idea is for LaunchGram to act as an aggregator and organizer of desired information for customers looking to keep abreast on topics and items of interest without having to scour the internet themselves for this information. They will instead be able to receive notifications of the most up to date information as they go about their day, a welcomed concept to many including the author of this article.
