On September 12, Rogers announced that they would be bringing LTE to more cities around Canada by October 1. The wireless giant delivered on its promise and now several new locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan have newly minted LTE capability.
Rogers has stated that the company is going to deliver LTE to 60% of the Canadian before the year is up. Users for both Rogers and Fido have given positive reports regarding the connection speed and ease of the LTE network from around the country, so it seems that the Rogers network is on track to achieve its goals.
Rogers was the first wireless provider to offer consumers the chance to use their phones on the LTE network. With a number of new devices like the iPhone 5 with LTE capabilities the network is expected to get a lot of usage in the future particularly as more new and innovative devices launch in the coming months. LTE promises to give users the highest possible data speeds on a wireless network. This should open up a number of new possibilities for users and make video and live chatting common on the 4G network.

British Columbia: Victoria, Abbotsford, Kelowna
Alberta: Edmonton
Saskatchewan: Saskatoon and Regina
Ontario: St. Catharines/Niagara, Oshawa/Pickering/Ajax, Windsor, Sudbury, Kingston, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, London, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Barrie
Quebec: Quebec, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières
