[RUMOR] – 13-inch MacBook Pro With Retina Display Will Cost $500 More Than its Predecessor

Apple’s next media event is scheduled for Tuesday and the rumours regarding the affair are lighting the online world on fire. The latest buzz related to the much anticipated iPad Mini launch event is the speculation that the 13-inch version of Apple’s MacBook Pro with Retina Display will also be showcased.

 

According to fresh reports it is expected that the price of the 13-inch MacBook Pro will be around $1,699. This means that to purchase new 13-inch MacBook Pro, consumers will have to pay $500 more than its predecessor, the non-Retina 13-inch MacBook Pro. However, this new breed will be $500 less than Apple’s entry-level edition of 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, pricing it in line with its line of products.

 

Officially Apple has not revealed the prices of this new version of MacBook because the company did not spread any official word that they will be introducing this product along with others on next Tuesday. Nonetheless, this new product was expected to arrive this fall, as NPD Display Search analyst Richard Shim told that production of 2,560×1,600-pixel display commenced back in August this year.

 

One sure thing about this new edition of MacBook is that it will be made available for sale in the very next week of this event, so Apple’s fans would not have to wait too long to test this smaller retina display. Along with 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display, Apple will also be launching a refreshed edition of Mac Mini, iMac desktop and it’s much hyped iPad Mini, which is probably a 7 inch version of the bigger iPad. This indicates that Apple’s event next Tuesday will be featuring an array of new and exciting products from the company that should dazzle its consumers.
