Facebook is one of the leading social networking websites, boasting millions of users across the globe who use this platform to not omly get in touch with their friends and family members but to share video clips, information and pictures. Numerous new features have also helped the company a great deal in keeping ahead of its rivals in this race thus far.
This cycle of adding new features to Facebook has not ended yet, as the company continually tests various new things. For instance, it was recently revealed that Facebook has been testing a novel alert notification that produces a ping sound when the user receives a message, gets a invite for an event or even when someone starts writing a message on Timeline.
However, as per the latest update from a spokesperson from Facebook it has been stated that the company is currently not just working on this new alert notification, but they are also testing a reply option that will be added with each comment posted to any user’s Timeline.
Meredith Chin of Facebook explained this new option by saying that, “We are testing a new way to add comments to a post on Facebook. Now you will be able to reply to another comment as well as the original post.” This feature will give people the added ability to respond directly with an individual within a larger chain of comments, adding a layer to Facebook’s connectivity.
With the introduction of this reply option, users will be able to respond to each comment left on their wall separately. This new move from Facebook is well likely to receive appreciation from its users, as it will make interaction between users an easier and more organic experience.
