Facebook‘s team seems quite active these days as with each passing day they seem to either be introducing a new app or feature for their users. Most recently, the social networking company released a trial version of a Photo Sync feature for their iOS users. The function of this latest feature from the leading social website is that when a user switches on the Photo Sync, his or her mobile photos are automatically saved to their private section of Facebook Photos page. This will enable the user to share his or her synced photos on their timeline from a mobile, iPad, desktop or any other device that runs on iOS.

Users can opt to sync photos only when they are connected with Wi-Fi instead, or syncing them as they take them  if they are worried that their data bill will inflate. Initially, Facebook had tested a similar kind of feature for Andriod based devices, but Mark Zuckerberg’s company decided to expand the service, finally managing to release it for iOS users as well.

There were different reasons behind the delay of Photo Sync feature and one of them was that Facebook was dealing with privacy issues. The second reason that caused the delay was that Facebook required time to develop Photo Sync feature according to the iOS, as the leading social networking service was utilizing background uploading rather than location iOS 6 integration.   Now this feature is ready for iOS users, who can preview it only after downloading the most recent version of the Facebook app on their device. They must simply go to their photos section within the app in order to tap sync right at the bottom of their photos section to initiate the instructions bit by bit.
