Taiwan’s multinational corporation Acer is well known for its affordable hardware and electronic products all over the world. This corporation has produced numerous wonderful devices so far that have swept consumers off their feet. However, Acer is more renowned for its wide range of laptops. These laptops from Acer were designed to cater to the needs of businessmen, professionals, individuals and students.
However, of these series, Acer’s line-up of TravelMate notebooks are rated pretty high, but these laptops were developed to cater business and professional personnel’s needs. As a result of that people, who are engaged in studies, tilt towards other models of Acer’s notebooks.
Acer has now introduced its latest model in the TravelMate line-up of notebooks that is for the sort of on the go type, usually students. This latest notebook from Acer is called TravelMate B113.
The specifications of this new breed are quite interesting, as its 11.6 inch screen has a resolution of 1,366 x 768 and its weight is no more than three pounds that is why team of developers at Acer has been able to keep the thickness of TravelMate B113 to just one inch.
As far as the processor is concerned it sports Core i3 Ivy Bridge CPU with a hard drive of 500GB and RAM of 4GB. Users will be see the latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows 8 in the TravelMate B113, but it wont feature a touch screen. Acer is offering this notebook at a much lower price ($399) than Microsoft’s Surface RT edition ($499).
