Canadian Technology Accelerator in Boston Invites Applications from Established Small and Medium-Sized Canadian Companies

Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) in Boston is offering a golden opportunity to established small and medium-sized Canadian companies engaged in IT, green technology, life sciences or health sectors to seize financial prospects, strategic partnerships and new clientele in this part of the world by sending their applications to get enrolled in this program by January 7, 2013.

 

This will be a three months long program and selected companies will be located in the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC), from where they will be able to take a peek at the MIT campus in Kendall Square. Successful candidates will have to make arrangement for their legal status in the US as well as travel, lodging and living expenses.

 

However, first of all they need to get enrolled in this program, for which applicants/ established small, medium-sized Canadian companies must meet the requirements of the CTA. These requirements include initial toehold in the market, potential to boost the business and a requirement to be a different technology so as to be considered for enrolment.

 

As far as the administration of the Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) in Boston is concerned, it is managed by Canadian Trade Commissioner Service that also controls the CTA in Silicon Valley and New York.

 

To the extent that services in the CTA program are concerned, selected Canadian companies will get the following facilities during the course of this program:

 

A work place amongst compatible and awe inspiring global entrepreneurs.

 

The chance to meet with experienced advisors and mentors, including successful executives of Canadian origin, who are now working in the U.S.

 

The program will also make them meet with leaders of the industry as well as potential investors and partners.

 

In addition to this, selected businesses will also attend networking events with potential investors and partners.

 

Last but not least, the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service will also provide them additional connections.
