Internet Leaks Reveal Features and Specs of Upcoming Blackberry Z10

There is still some time left before the launch of Research In Motion’s Blackberry 10 smartphones, but the leaked images have added to the hype surrounding the Canadian company to an extent. Now, to add salt to the fire, more leaks have cropped up and they are taking some of the surprise away from Waterloo based RIM.

 

As these latest leaks have revealed, the all-touch device of RIM will be called Z10 and it will be made available to users in two different colours, black and white. In addition to this, the leak also divulged that a traditional QWERTY keypad model of Blackberry is also included in the line-up of upcoming smartphones. Moreover, this QWERTY keypad phone by RIM will be called X10, apart from this there are no other details on this handset available at the moment.

 

Another leak has unveiled hardware specifications and features of all-touch device, Blackberry Z10, which are as follows:

Display: 4.2″・1280×768・356PPI ・24 Bit Color ・15:9

Connectivity: NFC ・microUSB ・microHDMI-Out ・Bluetooth 4.0 LE

 

WiFi: 802.11 a/b/g/n ・2.4/5GHz

 

Memory: 1GB RAM ・16GB Internal Storage ・Hot Swappable microSD Slot

 

GPS: Autonomous ・A-GPS

 

Radio: Quad Band HSPA+ / UMTS (850/900/1700/1900/2100MHz) ・Quad Band GSM / GPRS (850/900/1800MHz) ・Quad Band LTE: Bands 2,4,5,13,17 (700, 850,1700, 1900MHz)

 

Battery: 1800mAh Removable

 

Sensors: Ambient Light Detector ・Accelerometer ・Magnetometer ・Gyroscope ・Face Detect for phone calls

 

At this point in time it is hard to predict whether these specs and other leaked information is valid or not, as only RIM can put them to rest, but it will take Blackberry maker some time to do so because the launch of Blackberry 10 is slated for January 30, 2013.
