RUMOUR: Sony to Release 5 Inch Xperia Z following International CES 2013

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is set to commence January 8, 2013 in Las Vegas where the tech inspired will see a long line-up of famous international electronic manufacturers and their latest wares. These leading electronics maker will be revealing the future of technology and their companies, one of which is Japanese giant, Sony.

 

According to the latest update, Sony has scheduled a big press conference at CES 2013 on the very first day of the event. This press conference will commence at 5:00 pm local time on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 and it is anticipated that the multinational company will reveal a new array of smartphones. This will also include the flagship device of Sony that is believed to be an Android powered Xperia Z.

 

The much anticipated phone is supposed to have a 5 inch screen with 1080p display and its overall measurements are going to be 139 x 71 x 7.9mm. Moreover, it has also been reported that the Xperia Z will boast a quad-core Qualcomm Snadragon S4 processor along with an Adreno 320 GPU. To the extent that its RAM is concerned, users will be able to stretch their experience further with its 2GB storage, whereas the camera of Xperia Z will be an awesome 13 megapixels.

 

On the whole, these features makeup a good next gen smartphone and hopefully Sony will be able to lure more customers with the launch of this handset that is rumoured to be available for sale just after a week of this press conference on January 15, 2013.

 

However, so far there is no update on the price and countries which Xperia Z will hit first, but it is expected that Canadians may have their share of luck and will be among the ones who have the first grab at this smartphone.
