The official blog of YouTube declared on January 3 that the company would be bringing an Apple Airplay-like feature to some more devices during this year, beginning with a few companies have already lined-up their new products in order to reveal them at the international Customer Electronics Show in Las Vegas that will commence next Monday.

The company stated on the blog that, “This year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), we’re bringing that mobile/TV-pairing feature to devices from our friends, such as: Bang & Olufsen, LG, Panasonic, and Sony. In 2013, you’ll see this feature come to even more devices like those from Philips, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba, Vizio, Western Digital, and others.”

In addition to this, Google also made it known that the latest devices will also show off the new YouTube TV app design. Though, this Apple Airplay-like feature currently works with the YouTube app on Android powered devices, it still is one step awayvfor the company to give a time to this functionality of Apple on Apple TV.

Back in November, Google released a new feature for Google TV and its YouTube Android app, which enabled users to transfer videos from their slates or smartphones to their TV screens by using Wi-Fi. In addition, this new function had converted the mobile app into a TV remote control through which users can scroll, skip or pause scenes of video playing on TV screen and much more.
