Reddit is a very popular social news site that has a very simple interface. Like other extremely trafficked sites on the internet such as Wikipedia and Craigslist, Reddit has minimal design elements. The site may not be aesthetically pleasing but is an amazing pool of knowledge sharing and offers links to information that is popular at any given time. For people that cannot stand to look at Reddit but want to access its rich stream of information, the read only client Reeddit offers a very good looking solution. Developed with a responsive layout the app can run on a desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile without missing a beat.

Reeddit does offer several other features including the ability to create channels. This lets user combine several different subreddits so that they can view all of them in one glance. The new app is accessible from the latest internet browsers including Chrome, Firefox and Safari. It also runs smoothly on iOS devices and mobile products running Android 4.o or higher.

The read only client was created by 25-year-old web developer Bernardo Baquero Stand who started work on Reeddit as a side project. The project has a GitHub page where the creator has listed all the technologies being used in the app including Zepto.js, Tappable, Mustache.js, reziseend.js and others. The source code is available for anyone to view, edit and learn.
