According to the latest report, a theft has taken place at the Research Campus of Microsoft in Silicon Valley during this Christmas holidays and as a result of this burglary, five Apple iPads were found stolen from the campus of the software company.
The report also says that of these five iPads two were iPad 2s, two were iPad 3s and one was an iPad 4. The combined worth of these five iPads is $3,729 and they were taken out sometime between December 19 and 26.
However, the strange thing about this burglary in Mountain View campus of Microsoft was that this very office is presumed to be loaded with the greatest and latest products of this multinational corporation and none of them were found missing after this theft. This gives the impression that the thief was a fan of Apple products therefore he chose to steal iPads only instead of the latest Microsoft products.
Sean Thompson who is a police sergeant and investigating this burglary case said that, “there are no suspects and no sign of forced entry.” He also said “all employees have access to the building through their electronic card keys.”
In the meantime, Microsoft has told police that they will check the surveillance videos, as close circuit cameras are fixed in this campus through which they will try to find out, who have entered or existed the dwelling during the time frame of the robbery.
