Often it has been observed that small businesses fail to make it large in spite of having dedication and the spirit to achieve the task. The reason for this failure is not having a sturdy online presence. Therefore, to help such small businesses succeed Chandler, Ari based Infusionsoft has developed a customized system that includes all necessary tools such as sales, social marketing, email and CRM.

Now according to the latest report, Infusionsoft has successfully gained $54 million in their third round of funding from Goldman Sachs with which this company plans to further develop its product and amplify its own sales and marketing in order to help small business owners in a more efficient way while also luring new clients, initiate programmed marketing campaigns, connect with existing clients and lastly to boost sales.

In an email interview CEO of Infusionsoft, Clate Mask said that, “The small business market is underserved by software companies. Most vendors in the sales and marketing SaaS industry are gunning for the enterprise clients and their products show it. Mid-market software and IT support is too expensive and complicated, but simple marketing and sales tools can’t effectively manage their growing businesses. True small businesses are left having to figure out how to make these systems work for their needs and it usually fails.”

Due to this reason, when Infusionsoft launched their customized software back in 2001, they immediately felt that there was a huge demand for this sort of comprehensive product to make small businesses successful. Therefore, today Infusionsoft targets only small businesses, which have a work force between two and 25 employees and that are “owner-operated, lack IT support, follow their buyers online and desperately need effective sales and marketing tools to succeed.”

To the extent the third round of funding is concerned Mask says, “The news of this deal might shock some people due to the size of the round and the fact that it’s coming from a company outside of Silicon Valley. But anyone who’s been following Infusionsoft knows that this makes perfect sense. We’ve had a vision for a long time and we stuck to it like glue. Every decision made — from hiring to product development — reflects that vision and now we’re ready to go big.  The sales and marketing SaaS market is blowing up, the small businesses market is blowing up, and we have the most perfect launch pad.”

So far Infusionsoft has raised $71 million in the form of capital and its clients list comprises of animal clinics, boxing gyms, internet start-ups and wedding videographers. At this point in time, Infusionsoft has decent base of clients that makes more than 12,000 customers across the globe and the company growth rate of the company is also quite remarkable, remained 50 percent in the previous year.
