Although VentureLab’s entrepreneurial education program does not charge any fee from the participants, it, in no way, is a walk in the park, CEO Jeremy Laurin has clarified, via itbusiness.

VentureLab assists people with innovative ideas in the field of technology in bringing their ideas to life and help them create their own establishment that could compete at global level. VentureLab has introduced an entrepreneurial education program called BUILD (Being, edUcate, Invest, Launch, and expanD).

The BUILD program organises workshops and one-to-one advisory sessions for the applicants. The workshops cover a broad area including setting up a business, preparing strategies to achieve short-term and long-term goals, networking and others.

VentureLab does not charge any registration fee for the program, but they demand high level of professionalism and competency from the applicants. Laurin wants the participants to be ready to give their best so as to attain success. He said:

“It’s not easy to build a company, if it was, everyone would do it. Instead of me having to tell you you’re not going to make it, you’ll spend two hours at one of these boot camps and know for yourself.”

He added:

“Entrepreneurs who don’t take it as seriously as a heart attack are politely shown the door.”

There is no deadline to apply, and the interested parties can register with VentureLab at any given time. Once they fill out the application form, they are called for a meeting during which details of their proposed projects are discussed. All the entrepreneurs who acquire training from VentureLab must present a feedback about the program in order to help VentureLab bring changes where necessary.
