BlackBerry 10

With just 17 days to go in the launch of the next generation of Blackberry devices many telecom carriers have started to announce their intentions of supporting the BlackBerry 10  from Research In Motion. New additions to this line-up of Canadian telecom carriers include Koodo, who announced through its Facebook page that “The new BlackBerry 10 is coming soon to Koodo!”

After Bell, Rogers, TELUS, SaskTel and VirginMobile, Koodo has also jumped on the Blackberry bandwagon. This shows Research In Motion’s marketing hype about the BB10 OS and devices is proving quite successful at least in Canada. Earlier RIM provided its latest smartphone to about 150 carriers across the world for testing and it now seems that most of the companies are satisfied with the device.

With less than 20 days left in the release of BB10 two other telecommunication companies have also chosen to pick up BB10 for their network. Mobilicity and WIND Mobile stated in an email that they “will support BlackBerry 10.”

As a result of these recent additions, it looks that no telecom carrier in North America wants to stay behind in this race of making BB10 available for sale from their platform. And the credit of this initial success surely goes to RIM that has really worked hard on both its software and hardware in order to give its products a chance in the market.
