“We are very excited to be interacting with the students and preparing them to innovative use of our technology. We have had a very good response from these young people on our various offerings and are confident that we should be seeing a churn of apps from them quite soon.”

Microsoft technologies that will be the focus of this programme include, Windows 8, Mobile operating system Windows Phone 8, Open Search Technology, Bing Search, Visual Studio, Windows Azure and other technologies.

Through the mentorship programme students will be able to create applications for the Microsoft environment and bring them to a global audience through the Windows marketplace.
