After the launch of Samsung Galaxy S IV, every smartphone enthusiast was anxiously waiting for the launch of the third generation of the Korean manufacturer’s popular phablet, the Galaxy Note III. Rumour has it that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note III on September 4th along with its much anticipated Galaxy Gear smartwatch. However, we have not received any confirmation before today that the aforementioned launch date of the Galaxy Note III is legitimate or not, but now Spigen, a smartphone accessory and case maker, has displayed a new post on its website that has not only revealed the launch date of Note III, but it is also showing the image of what could be the ‘next big thing.’
Spigen has actually put up an image which reads that “Samsung Galaxy Note III will be announced on Sept 4th,” “The Next Big Thing is Coming Soon.” Whereas, an image the under text shows the next-gen of the much awaited phablet. According to MobileSyrup, “What’s interesting about the image, which is probably a placeholder, is that the branding says Note III, rather than the brand direction that the Galaxy S4 took with numbers.”
The upcoming Galaxy Note III is likely to boast a 1.8GHz Octa-core Exynos 5420 processor, a 5.68-inch display, 13-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, 3,200 mAh battery and LTE connectivity. Besides this, Galaxy Note III is likely to be running the latest version of Android Jelly Bean, 4.3. Apart from this it remains to be seen what new functionalities Note III will bring to the table this time, as the current model of the device gave users several first-rate feature such as Air Gesture, which was perhaps the most popular of the Note II.
So smartphone fans have a lot of expectations from Galaxy Note III besides being bigger and better in performance. Coming back to Spigen’s image it is highly likely that by displaying the image of the Galaxy Note III the accessory maker would have received a lot of traffic on its site, which should definitely give the company a lot of publicity in the short term. However, as soon as a new leaked image or information regarding the Galaxy Note III appears online it is expected that people will absolutely forget about Spigen.
From this one can imagine how excited people are about the upcoming Galaxy Note III smartphone, which is the successor of the first phablet that any company has produced.
