Apple is called the world’s most valuable company for good reason. The technology giant has figured out how to create brand loyalty among its customers along with developing products that have mass appeal. It also doesn’t hurt that the company can produce these products at very cheap prices. With the early passing away of the iconic Steve Jobs, Apple did not seem like it was in any trouble. The iPad was selling like crazy and the iPhone 4S was a record breaker. However, after the Jobs era the latest introduced iPhone 5 would be the true test of Apple and whether it would be able to be the same without their founder and CEO. Analysts seem to be very optimistic about the company and one analyst thinks that Apple will be able to sell 10 Million units in the first couple of weeks.

The iPhone provides for 70 percent of the California based companies revenues and in a world were electronics maker update their products quickly, Apples once a year strategy has been a gamble form the beginning. However, critics have been proven wrong year after year as Apples products sell extremely well. This is expected of the iPhone 5 also which may benefit strongly from built up demand for a newer phone and it latest upgrades.

Gene Munster of Piper Jaffray stand behind his 10 million prediction but it is interesting to note that Samsung required 50 days to sell 10 million units of it Galaxy S III while the previous version of the iPhone sold only 4 million units on its first weekend and had 37 million iPhone sales at the end of the first quarter.

The numbers may seem unlikely to some but still other analysts have much bigger numbers in their minds. Craig Berger of FBR Capital Markets is very bullish and thinks that Apple will sell a massive 250 million iPhone 5s overall with $144 billion in revenue. Berger claims that these huge numbers are possible because predictions are based on assumptions that a large number of consumers from China will be added to the mix while people that bought the older version will want to upgrade to the new phone.
