Android Based Google To Be Made Available For Google Chrome

Google’s Android powered smartphone feature, Google Now, is on its way to the search engine’s impressive internet browser, Chrome. Google Now was created to make the life of the user easier by giving a helping hand in automating every days tasks. The app efficiently displays travel conditions, weather forecasts, flight reminders and restaurant food recommendations to give the user a lot less to worry about during their day.

 

CNET reported that programmers for Google Chrome browser have accepted a “skeleton” for Google Now for Chrome. According to details, this is an initial step in a bigger project that is focused on bringing Google Now notifications to Chrome browser.

 

Google Now is only available for Android powered smartphones but by making it a part of Chrome Google will surely increase the number of users that get a chance to use its technology. Since Chrome is available for most computer system, the company expects both desktop and PC users to be able to use the Google Now app as well.

 

Google Now is an interesting move by Google as an extension of its search feature. The app is basically an intelligent personal assistant and has a natural language user interface. Web services are used to perform tasks or give information. The app also passively gives information on cards including weather reports and to do tasks.
