Apple Launches its First Ever “Refurbished Outlet” on eBay

Now you can buy Apple’s refurbished products directly from eBay. The most interesting thing about the agreement is that this special page on the consumer-to-consumer corporation is labelled as a “Refurbished Outlet”, promoting the sale of quality used product. This suggests that Apple which has produced top products like the iPod, iPad, and iPhone have now opened a store on eBay. Moreover, it was also learnt that new refurbished Apple store within eBay is still going through a trial phase.

 

In spite of that, users are admiring this effort, as this “Refurbished Outlet” has already received 99.7 percent positive reviews from consumers. However, this new Apple sales venue provides no information on the source of the revamped devices, although the prices of products listed on this site are no different than the refurbished devices found on this California based firm’s official store.   Nevertheless, consumers seem to be quite smitten with the “Refurbished Outlet” on eBay for numerous reasons, one of them being that the site is charging tax in only a few states in the United States, whereas the official store of Apple is gathering tax from all the states.

 

In addition to this, consumers are getting a full 1 year warranty on their refurbished devices from this outlet, as these seem to be put through the rigorous testing required to qualify. Those who want to purchase iPads or iPods from this “Refurbished Outlet” will be glad to know that these devices are coming with new batteries. Moreover, all these refurbished devices have received burn-in testing and Apple has re-installed the original operating system in them.   Similarly packaging of these devices has also been redone with cable and manual and Apple has carried out the last quality inspection.   At this stage, shipping list includes US only, but soon Canadians will also be able to purchase refurbished devices from this outlet, as this store can now also be seen at eBay Canada. Canadian provinces will be taxed based on their provincial rates.
