After releasing the rugged PTT device called the Samsung Galaxy Rugby LTE on November 1 in Canada, Bell has now shifted its focus towards the launch of another device by the South Korean smartphone giant. This new device is the Samsung Galaxy Ace II and as per an internal document, Bell will be releasing this mobile device on November 15.
Initially, it was well known that Virgin Mobile would be launching the Samsung Galaxy Ace II in Canada, however Bell and other carriers in the country have also joined in the Ace race. Hopefully, just like other similar devices from Samsung, the Ace II will amuse, entertain and satisfy users the same way other Galaxy devices have.
The latest specs of this new smartphone are as follows:
The Galaxy Ace II will bear an Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system (OS) and bears a similar resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S III. However, the Galaxy Ace II varies from the Galaxy S III in many ways. This new Samsung mobile has a 4 inch screen with 480×800 resolution and it includes a single core 1 GHz processor to boost the device’s speed while conducting multi-tasking.
Moreover, it has two cameras, one at the rear features 5 megapixels with features like autofocus, geo-tagging and smile detection, whereas the front-facing camera features a VGA camera . In addition to this, there is a 1500mAh battery in this smartphone that gives decent talk and usage times. Besides this, Galaxy Ace II will be available in two colours that are White and Cobalt Black.
To the extent that the Galaxy Ace II’s price is concerned ,rumours are swirling that it will cost users around $250. Considering the long index of Galaxy Ace II’s specs this price seems quite attractive.
