No news is quite as good as that heard directly from the horse’s mouth. With that in mind allow us to share this little tidbit from the good people at Samsung Canada. According to the aforementioned source, both the Galaxy Note II and Galaxy Camera will be offering 50GB of free Dropbox storage with any new account added from one of the two Samsung devices.
The 50GB of storage will be made available for a two year term, service amount and length that usually costs $99 per year. A similar offer was made earlier this year between Samsung and the cloud storage provider for the Galaxy S III device within Canada (TQ was on it).
According to Dropbox CEO Lars Fjeldsoe-Nielsen, the offer and association with Samsung makes sense for the company who are always striving to offer their customers the best possible experience. “the most important thing to us is to provide our users with the ability to have a seamless experience across the many mobile devices they use and this partnership shows our mutual commitment to offering Samsung users the best possible experience.”
Although no concrete date has yet been given for the Note II’s release, we anticipate the awesome device should be available by the end of October.
