According to the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association, our great nation’s wireless industry is responsible for an impressive number of jobs and economic activity.

The report states that the industry’s 260,000 jobs have a mean salary of $44,000 as compared to the average Canadian after tax income of $32,000. Those salary figures mean that tech and wireless companies pay an incredible $11.4 billion per annum to their workforce.

The report also states that the aforementioned industry accounts for an incredible $43 billion in cumulative direct and indirect economic activity. We expect these numbers to increase steadily over time as our lives and society as a whole involve an ever-increasing integration of wireless devices and technology.
