Canadian Cloud Accounting App Kashoo Gets 100,000 Registered Users

Headquartered in Vancouver, cloud accounting startup, Kashoo stated on Tuesday,  May 6 that it had reached 100,000 registered users. The Canadian provider of simple accounting software for businesses also mentioned that to date its iPad app had been downloaded 50,000 times. The milestones indicate the growing success of the Canadian firm and ready acceptance of cloud based products by small businesses around the world.

 

Jim Secord, the CEO of Kashoo says, “Apple sold 19.5 million iPads last quarter, according to an April 23rd iMore report, which reaffirms our belief that it’s fast becoming a primary device for people—particularly for the increasingly mobile small business owners of the world. The app is hot on the web and also on the iPad where it is the most downloaded accounting app. The startup also received the 2012 Startup of the Year award from BCTIA. The latest version of the iPad app now has “attachments, easy printing via AirPrint, faster data entry, a variety of beautiful, client-ready invoice templates and more.”
