The wireless keyboard is not a new innovation for PC or tablet users, but Logitech‘s K810 has given the tech mainstay a completely new dimension. The Bluetooth keyboard not only connects easily with PCs and tablets, it also gives users freedom to connect it with a mobile phone, iPads and MacBooks. Although this keyboard was made to support devices that run Windows 8, but it can easily connect to other gadgets including devices that run Google’s Android OS.

If this wasn’t enough to convince early adopters to buy the device, the myriad of  other features should seal the deal. For example, users can hook the K810 with three devices (PC, tablet and mobile) simultaneously. Moreover, the K810 can switch between these three devices with a simple keyboard tap. Additionally  the K810’s rechargeable battery gives a standby time of 10 hours.

The other useful feature the K810 possesses that will blow you away is the backlit keyboard which is extremely efficient in its battery usage. This innovation was created by Logitech to make typing easier in dimly lit areas, as K810 can adjust the level of back lighting according to the lighting in the surrounding area. There is also a built-in sensor, which can sense the movement of user’s fingers on the keys and automatically turns on the backlight. An off switch allows users to turn off the keyboard to additionally boost battery timing.

The reason behind developing an off switch instead of adding a heavy battery was that today’s modern market of gadgets weight matters a lot, as users prefer to carry light devices that feature extended battery life. The weight of the K810 comes in under 12 ounces.

Gadgets freaks in United States can get their hands on this aluminium finished chicklet-styled keyboard in October, as it will be available in the country for $99.99.
