Entries Being Accepted by nextMEDIA for The 2013 Digi Awards

People have been waiting impatiently for the Digi Awards nominations and nextMEDIA has finally announced that it will now be accepting entries for the 2013 Digi Awards, an event that focuses on highlighting companies, people and products that are making waves in the world of Canadian digital media. All members of the digital elite are bound to be at the awards, along with some of the biggest and most popular entrepreneurs and stars in the digital media landscape. As far as the date for the awards in concerned, December 3rd has been scheduled for the event at The Carlu during the nextMEDIA conference in Toronto.

 

“The Digis continue to recognize top Canadian talent from both the advertising and media sectors,” says Mark Greenspan, Executive Producer of The Digi Awards, according to techvibes.com. “As these industries continue to evolve it’s important to recognize the ground breaking work and people that are shaping the future in both Canada and abroad.”

 

The 2013 Digi Award categories are the following:

 

Company of the Year

This award, the most prestigious out of the list, will go to the top ranking Canadian company that has gained the most and also given the most. A minimum of $2 million in revenue generation is a must to be eligible for this award.

 

Most Promising Company of the Year

Those companies which are categorized as the top emerging in the digital media world come under this banner. They have proven that they have what it takes and a revenue of under $2 million will get them placed here.

 

Executive of the Year

Whether a company is fresh in the market or has been struggling and is now back up in the scene, the executive who made that possible will be recognized under this award.

 

Apart from the above mentioned categories, the following will also be part of the 2013 Digi Awards.
