The upcoming Android based gaming console Ouya declared that soon their platform will have ten new games, adding to the other games the console currently offers. The Kickstarter project made this announcement through its Twitter account in which it also mentioned the names of these ten new games, which are as:

1. Fist of Awesome

2. MechKnight Chronicles

3. Syder Arcade

4. KidElectro

5. Space Runner

6. Legend of Dungeon

7. iMech Online

8. DustyRevenge

9. HolyShield!

10. Starbound

Most of these games are brand new, except for Fist of Awesome, which involves bear punching lumberjacks, similar to other games users might have played.

Ouya rewarded the ten developers of these new games by giving each of them dev consoles for free. With these Ouya dev consoles the ten games developers will also be able to further test their own games before they will be made available officially.

These dev consoles of Ouya will be shipped out from December 28 along with their software development kit (SDK) that will be offered to everyone and for that they would not have to pay any extra charges. Although, each console that Ouya will make available for sale is going to be dev, but the company is indicating that initial dev consoles will be “pretty special”. To the extent price of Ouya is concerned it will be offered at $99.

Those, who are not much familiar with Ouya should know that it is a new breed of gaming console that is expected to hit the market in March 2013 and it has its own Android operating system. This project received tremendous response, when its Kickstarter campaign was started couple of months ago, as it gained $8 million in no time.
