The good people at TELUS Mobility are running a promotion from August 24, 2012 to September 30, 2012 that will allow SCENE members 5 free movies. The value of the promotion is worth 5,000 SCENE points. In order to be eligible, you must purchase and activate a smartphone or renew an existing account for 3 additional years.
SCENE is a rewards based system that is a joint project between Scotia Bank and Cineplex Odeon.
Current or potential TELUS customers who do not currently have or collect SCENE points need not fret. The company’s website explains how to sign up to become a SCENE member in order to use your points. Once you have activated or renewed, a visit to TELUS’ website 24 hours later will allow you to deposit your 5,000 points. The deposit must be made by October 31, 2012, providing ample time.
According to Mobile Syrup, the company ran a similar promotion a few years ago and saw enough out of it to give it another shot. The deal is ideal for fans of movies and free stuff, which we assume is pretty much everyone and their cousin.
